Key Job Responsibilities Include:
Assist in training, coaching, and motivating store employees
Learn to lead and support the talent management of employees
Learn to conduct performance conversations and support a positive team culture
Model high standard in customer service
Responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions.
Oversee and monitor customer satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement
Participate in workforce planning, scheduling, and training to ensure adequate coverage
Develop and understanding of local customer needs, shopping patterns, and community expectations
Assist in executing marketing programs, initiatives, and promotions.
Learning the aspects of the management, maintenance, and security of the store location and property.
Support daily store functions including inventory management, ordering, receiving, stock rotation, and merchandising
Participate in asset protection activities such as shrink reduction, loss prevention, and incident reporting
Administrative duties include maintaining documentation of workflows
Learn to interpret financial reports including sales, margins, labour costs, and operational expenses
Who you are:
Grade 12 or equivalent, post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred
Previous retail and customer service experience
Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) experience an asset.
Proven effective communication skills; both verbal and written
Class 5 drivers license
Ability to lead, mentor and develop people and work well with others
Commitment to ongoing learning and development
You are available to work flexible hours, which will include days, evenings, and weekends
