    "description_html": "<align-center>&nbsp;<strong>GSE Mechanic&nbsp;</strong></align-center><p><u><strong>Objective</strong></u><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Ground Service Equipment, GSE, mechanic is responsible to provide preventative maintenance, major and minor repairs on all types of ground service equipment and vehicles.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></u>&nbsp;</p><p>1. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on company ground equipment and vehicles.&nbsp;</p><p>2. Perform complex repairs on vehicles, both electrical and mechanical.&nbsp;</p><p>3. Assist with servicing fuel farm equipment and coordinate annual filter changes and inspections.&nbsp;</p><p>4. Perform diagnostic procedures (including electrical) on vehicles and equipment to determine repair needs.&nbsp;</p><p>5. Order, receive, and inventory parts and supplies&nbsp;</p><p>6. Keep maintenance records of all equipment, and report any heavy maintenance requirements to management and communicate as needed with contract maintenance personnel.&nbsp;</p><p>7. Assist Line Service Technicians on ramp as needed&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Reporting Relationship</strong></u>&nbsp;</p><p>This position reports to the General Manager&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Work Environment</strong></u>&nbsp;</p><p>This position works outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Physical Demands</strong></u>&nbsp;</p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:&nbsp;</p><p>1. Must be able to lift 75 pounds occasionally and/or in excess of 50 pounds frequently&nbsp;</p><p>2. Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery&nbsp;</p><p>3. Outside work in all types of weather conditions.</p><p>4. Position requires bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping and climbing a ladder.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work</strong></u>&nbsp;</p><p>This is a non-exempt position. This position includes shift work which may require working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays. Normally scheduled hours are 7am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Travel</strong></u>&nbsp;</p><p>No travel is expected for this position.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></u></p><p>1. Four (4) years on the job experience as a diesel &amp; gas powered vehicle technician&nbsp;</p><p>2. ASE certification (preferred)&nbsp;</p><p>3. Two (2) years technical accredited training-ground service equipment maintenance (preferred)&nbsp;</p><p>4. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays&nbsp;</p><p>5. Acceptable driving record&nbsp;</p><p>6. Ability to pass a background check&nbsp;</p><p>7.
