Verifies female patient pregnancy status when appropriate.</li>\n <li>Assesses factors that may contraindicate the procedure, such as medications or insufficient patient preparation.</li>\n <li>Documents patient and exam occurrences in PACS/RIS to include exam start complete times.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrates a high degree of knowledge in Nuclear Medicine and in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) to include knowledge and abilities in basic and complex diagnostic NM and PET procedures.</li>\n <li>Abilities and knowledge in managing a patient care environment with increased exposure to infectious diseases, carcinogens and radiation.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Computerized Tomography imaging procedures and technology to include knowledge of specifications, standards, and tolerances for the operation of CT equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.</p>\n<p><strong>Certification/Licensure:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS).</li>\n <li>Current registration and licensure by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine (NM) or Current Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification.</li>\n <li>BLS certification through the American Heart Association.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferences&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education preferred from an accredited program for Nuclear Medicine Technology via ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist via NMTCB</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to safely lift and physically manipulate patients.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze and apply theory to practice skills.</li>\n <li>Standing and walking for periods of 2 hours or longer.</li>\n <li>Possible exposure to blood product and radiation.</li>\n <li>Lifting equipment up to 50lbs, and pushing equipment up to 150lbs and assisting with the movement of an adult patient weighing up to 300lbs</li>\n <li>Concentration, visual and auditory acuity for watching monitors and following instructions during procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Apply Now</strong></p>\n<p>When incredible people and incredible facilities like ours join together, incredible things happen.
