We are building teams across the country and whilst each has a local flavour we will all work to the same standards, job requirements and targets to maintain the same open and supportive culture.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Our Bike Mechanics are responsible for keeping the wheels moving. You will need to be conscientious, flexible and have a can-do attitude. Most importantly, you will be making yourself invaluable to the scheme and the wider community. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work within one of the country’s most exciting bike-share providers and maintain an integral role in our operations team.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ad hoc and scheduled maintenance, including but not limited to;</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Full bike strip downs and rebuilds, minor and major repairs.</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Prioritise personal and workshop health and safety, flagging any concerns locally and speak directly to senior Beryl management if you have concerns that are not being addressed</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- At all times work to Beryl standards ensuring maintenance and vehicle builds provide safe vehicles to our Customers.</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Follow guidance from senior mechanics for complex jobs to continually improve your skill set.</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Keep accurate service and maintenance records whilst completing vehicle builds and repairs in our App.</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- As required, update our stock control systems to ensure records are up to date</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Pass Beryl mechanics’ training and other internal qualifications that are needed to ensure we are all working to the same standards</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Help to support Beryl’s continual learning and improvement by pointing out recurring issues with our vehicles</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Keep yourself up to date with changes to processes and parts used on vehicles</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Be a team player, working and helping your local and the wider Beryl team</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- General housekeeping in workshop and communal areas</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Ad hoc on street repairs of vehicles as/when required</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- As required, Support our on-street team as/when required</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills/Qualifications</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- A background in mechanical maintenance</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Keen interest in bicycles</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Happy to work flexibly with rotational hours</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Fluency and good communication skills</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Full clean driving licence preferred</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">What we offer in return</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- The chance to build the business and help Beryl on our journey to become one of the biggest micromobility operators in the world.</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- 32 days off inclusive of bank holidays</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Employer pension contributions</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Paid sick leave</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Enhanced parental leave</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Birthdays off</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Employee assistance program (counselling support)</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Annual learning and development budget</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Cycle to work scheme - discounted bikes &amp; accessories</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Tech scheme - discounted technology and home products</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Paid volunteer days</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">- Discounted gym memberships across the UK</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Diversity<br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">At Beryl, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
