The Group’s head office is in Malta but is also present through offices in Italy, Cyprus, Morocco, <br>Nigeria and Algeria.  <br> <br>Though Hudson Holdings was founded in 2006, the Group’s roots reach as far back as 1987 when the first <br>pair of NIKE was sold in Malta. <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role purpose </span><br>Supporting the store manager in the daily business operations of the retail store. Conducting general <br>tasks which include supervising, communicating, and carrying out store duties to ensure the efficient <br>operation of the store.  <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows: </span><br>• Supervising, training, and motivating staff to perform at their ultimate best <br>• Assisting the retail store manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers <br>• Coordinating the daily customer service operations such as sales process, orders, and payments <br>• Tracking the progress of weekly, monthly, and annual objectives <br>• Monitoring and maintaining the store inventory <br>• Evaluating employee performance and identifying hiring and training needs <br>• Coaching and supporting new and existing sales associates in the store <br>• Suggesting sales techniques and ideas with the team to increase sales revenue <br>• Communicating with clients and evaluating their needs <br>• Evaluating consumer behavior and adjusting product positioning <br>• Producing reports and analysing and interpreting retail data <br>• Making sure that all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines <br>• Acting as a store representative and setting an example for the rest of the team <br>• Ensuring a high quality/standard of work and service throughout. <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core competencies, knowledge, and experience </span><br>• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a retail store, ideally occupying a supervisory or <br>leadership role <br>• Familiarity with financial and customer service principles <br>• Able to create and analyse reports, spreadsheets, and sales statistics <br>• Proficient user of MS Office  <br>• Leadership and organizational abilities <br>• Interpersonal and communication skills <br>• Problem-solving attitude <br>• Flexibility to work in shifts</p>",
