    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Shermco is seeking a Locating Assistant in the Regina area.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Employee will be responsible for Locating Assistant duties coordinated by the JLS Group. JLS works as a larger team and performs locates based on the overall business needs of Shermco. Job duties include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide quality underground facilities locating services to customers across the province of Saskatchewan;</li>\n <li>Ensure a high level of customer service, quality and safety are upheld;</li>\n <li>Will be working in both urban and rural areas across the province;</li>\n <li>Will be responsible to become familiar with, abide by, and to administer the Shermco Health, Personnel and Safety policies;</li>\n <li>Will adhere to Shermco’s Alcohol and Drug Policy as defined; and</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<em><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></em>\n<ul>\n <li>Be a recent high school or post-secondary graduate seeking work experience as a Skilled Labourer. Candidates who are currently in the workforce already may also apply.</li>\n <li>Be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Hold a valid Driver’s license and clean Driver’s Abstract as travel is a requirement of this position.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment</li>\n <li>Strong organization and communication skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrate strong computer and technical skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude towards Shermco clients, stakeholders, and employees.</li>\n</ul>\n<em><strong><u>Other Requirements:</u></strong></em>\n<ul>\n <li>Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy</li>\n <li>High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism and accountability</li>\n <li>Analytical capabilities</li>\n <li>Driven, motivated and a desire to exceed your clients’ expectations</li>\n <li>Calm, positive attitude under pressure</li>\n <li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER | DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE</strong></p>\n<p>Shermco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
