Role Overview:
You will define the architecture of next-generation superconducting quantum processors, balancing performance, scalability, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design qubit and processor-level architectures
Define coupling, control, and readout strategies
Analyze tradeoffs between coherence, connectivity, and control complexity - Work closely with fabrication, control, and calibration teams
Guide hardware roadmap decisions
Qualifications:
PhD or significant experience in quantum hardware or superconducting circuits
Strong understanding of transmon-based architectures or related platforms
Experience with system-level design and tradeoff analysis
