The ideal candidate will have expertise in reading blueprints, using manual and CNC machining equipment, and ensuring tooling is made to exact specifications to support production operations.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, etc.) to fabricate precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and specialized parts.&nbsp;</li><li>Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create or repair dies and tooling.</li><li>Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.</li><li>Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.</li><li>Work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and tooling inventory.</li><li>Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.</li><li>Run production parts as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship certification preferred.</li><li>3+ years of experience as a tool and die machinist in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of machining practices, metallurgy, heat treatment, and tool design.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).</li><li>Experience with both manual and CNC equipment.</li><li>Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>CAD/CAM programming experience (Mastercam, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).</li><li>Experience with die-making for stamping, injection molding, or progressive tooling.</li><li>Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S principles.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to lift to 50 lbs.</li><li>Standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.</li><li>Use of protective equipment and adherence to shop safety standards.</li></ul>\n",
