(ATL) is hiring a Senior Engineer (1920 hrs) – stat/scientist – MACS with at least a MS in statistics and experience with occupational safety & health research, including statistical/coding and database software such as SAS, R, Python, MS SQL or Dataverse.</p>\n<h2>Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide methodological and epidemiological advice on data analysis.</li>\n <li>Provides assistance in developing job exposure matrices.</li>\n <li>Identifies appropriate analytical methods or statistical programs to address study objectives.</li>\n <li>Verifies, cleans, edits, and converts data to the proper format, as needed, to ensure that it is suitable for proposed analysis.</li>\n <li>Learns and uses statistical programming to achieve statistical objectives or required data manipulation.</li>\n <li>Utilizes statistical models and graphics, and uses statistical methods/techniques, as needed, to evaluate study hypotheses.</li>\n <li>Prepares basic, statistically sound analyses for manuscripts intended for publication in peer-reviewed journals or CDC publications, to be validated by a more senior analyst.</li>\n <li>Manuscript preparation in collaboration with NIOSH scientists.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>MS in statistics and experience with occupational safety & health research, including statistical/coding and database software such as SAS, R, Python, MS SQL or Dataverse</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Technical/Business Tools Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) </li>\n <li>Communication tools (Teams, SharePoint)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<p>PSI offers full-time, benefits eligible employees a competitive total compensation package that includes paid leave, and options for employer sponsored group medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D coverage, legal services, identity theft, and accident insurance.
