These benefits reflect our core purpose: helping people get there – safely, sustainably, and successfully.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Competitive compensation: $92,000 to $95,000 per year</strong>, with an additional Short-Term Incentive Program bonus of 10% to recognize your contributions to the organization</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision care, along with life insurance and short/long term disability programs</li>\n <li>A competitive RRSP matching program, helping you plan for a secure and successful retirement</li>\n <li>Policies and programs that support a balanced lifestyle</li>\n <li>Discounts for you and your family on tires, parts, and services at all Fountain Tire locations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct on-site internal safety audits to designated locations twice per year using our internal auditing tool.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain relationships with certifying partners, auditors and provincial boards. Complete required reporting.</li>\n <li>Support Managers at all Fountain Tire locations to properly process WCB filings and incident investigations. Coach locations where incidents exceed industry average.</li>\n <li>Promote Safety awareness as a subject matter expert through internal engagement, external marketing opportunities, and industry partnerships - fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and workplace safety. </li>\n <li>Research, develop, and deliver safety training programs and procedures with Learning and Development, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations </li>\n <li>Collaborate with Operations, Corporate Sales, and Learning & Development to integrate safety into business practices and training.</li>\n <li>Build and manage accessible tools, forms, and online resources to support Safety programs across all locations.</li>\n <li>Lead Safety recognition programs (COR, SECOR, MECOR), coordinate audits, reporting, and maintain relationships with certifying partners and regulatory bodies.</li>\n <li>Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE and assemble, analyze, and maintain Safety data for audits, trend reports, and proactive program improvement.</li>\n <li>Support contractor pre-qualification and ensure consistent standards are met across third-party engagements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Post-secondary Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and a minimum of 2 years experience in a hands-on, frontline Safety environment.</li>\n <li>Certified Auditor status a considerable asset. </li>\n <li><strong>Ability to travel 40% of the year</strong> to Fountain Tire locations (stores, retread plants, distribution centers, etc.)</li>\n <li>Several and/or all Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) courses completed.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with procedures for site safety, regulations, emergency procedures and WCB requirements.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical & decision-making abilities.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.</li>\n <li>A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable dealing with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity.</li>\n <li>Proven experience in the effective coordination of projects from inception through implementation including maintenance of appropriate documentation.</li>\n <li>Outstanding interpersonal communication, consultation, and coaching skills.</li>\n <li>Superior writing skills demonstrated by current success in drafting materials for diverse audiences.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As part of our commitment to safety and integrity, successful candidates will be required to complete a background check and credit check prior to employment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>At Fountain Tire, you would have a great place to work!
