Description

Plant Operations Supervisor We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily functions of our manufacturing plant. This leadership role is vital in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality plant operations, while providing guidance and oversight to plant personnel in the absence of the Plant Manager. If you are committed to safety, quality, and team development, we invite you to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success. Key Responsibilities: Open the plant and manage daily operations to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient production processes. Perform all job duties in strict accordance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures. Adhere to all company policies and promote a culture aligned with company values. Safely batch concrete and load trucks according to order specifications, maintaining high quality standards and operational efficiency. Conduct quality checks on sand moisture, slumps, and temperatures as per scheduled procedures. Provide leadership, motivation, and supervision to plant personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor and optimize plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture among team members. Assist in training and developing plant staff to enhance skills and operational knowledge. Support the Plant Manager in various operational and administrative tasks as needed. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in plant operations, manufacturing, or a related field. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of concrete batching, quality control, and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Ability to interpret technical data and perform basic troubleshooting. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or supervisory training is a plus.
