    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Washington, DC (Onsite with limited remote)<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clearance:</span> Public Trust (required)<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Employment Type:</span> Full-Time</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Overview</span></p>\n<p>Connexus Hub is seeking a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior IT Systems Engineer</span> to manage and modernize a hybrid IT environment spanning <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">on-prem infrastructure and Microsoft Azure/M365</span>.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">systems administration and engineering</span> across on-prem and cloud environments</li>\n<li>Manage <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, and Active Directory</span></li>\n<li>Implement <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">security controls aligned with NIST and FISMA</span></li>\n<li>Configure and maintain:\n<ul>\n<li>Servers (Windows/Linux)</li>\n<li>VMware environments</li>\n<li>Cisco networking infrastructure</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Develop <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">STIG baselines, patch management, and monitoring solutions</span></li>\n<li>Support <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">disaster recovery and system resilience planning</span></li>\n<li>Document <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">system architecture and operational procedures</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>6+ years in systems engineering / administration</li>\n<li>Strong experience with:\n<ul>\n<li>Azure / Microsoft 365</li>\n<li>Active Directory / Entra ID</li>\n<li>VMware</li>\n<li>Windows and Linux servers</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">federal IT compliance (NIST/FISMA)</span></li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">hybrid cloud environments</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification</li>\n<li>Experience with Cisco networking</li>\n<li>PowerShell scripting</li>\n</ul>",
