    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Tic Solutions is currently recruiting for a Sr. Contracts Manager at our Houston (Galleria), TX location.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The position provides contract support to business units and functional groups within NV5 and its affiliates with respect to RFP responses, contract review, and negotiation of terms and conditions, including ongoing contract amendment support.  The Sr. Contracts Manager must identify and mitigate risk in contracts in accordance with approved risk standards and corporate policies including assessing NV5’s legal obligations and liabilities and insurance requirements. The position is responsible for considering legal risk within a contract holistically and working with operations and other internal clients to negotiate an appropriate deal. This position is also responsible for preparing subcontracts, consulting services agreements, and other contractual agreements as necessary.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Manage all aspects of the contract process including:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The review and negotiation of service terms directly with internal and external clients</li>\n <li>Acting as a liaison between internal and external clients</li>\n <li>Reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts including leases, licensing agreements, purchase agreements, subcontractor agreements, and RFP terms</li>\n <li>Reviewing insurance requirements in contracts and ensuring COIs are issued that comply with the requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Oversee the contract management system and processes including</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensuring all contracts are complete, executed, and uploaded to the centralized contract management system</li>\n <li>Inspecting and auditing the centralized repository for accuracy and completeness of files</li>\n <li>Reporting directly to internal counsel any contract issues, outstanding contract items, and any other areas of concern pertaining to risk or legal issues</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Key Responsibilities including:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Educating internal business partners about the Contracts Policy and good contract practices, and providing ongoing consultation to ensure consistent application and compliance, including leading training of operations team on company risk tolerance and methods for contractually limiting liability to the company</li>\n <li>Supporting the internal mergers and acquisitions team by completing due diligence as it relates to pre-acquisition contract review and assisting contracts review integration efforts, including training newly acquired business units in company standards and risk tolerance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Thorough knowledge and understanding of general principles of indemnity and liability </li>\n <li>The ability to understand, interpret, modify and negotiate legal terms, with assistance and support from Counsel </li>\n <li>Thorough knowledge of insurance principles including basic knowledge of the various types of coverages pertinent to construction and industrial services work </li>\n <li>Effective interpersonal communication and consulting skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as customers of Acuren </li>\n <li>Advanced organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple concurrent projects and demands </li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate legal principles so that others can make informed risk decisions</li>\n <li>Consistently demonstrates an understanding of, and compliance with various company policies and procedures (after orientation and training)</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while also demonstrating the ability to function as a productive and collaborative member of a team  </li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred, but may be substituted with hands-on experience</li>\n <li>5 years of progressive experience in contracts review and negotiation</li>\n <li>Experience in engineering or construction contract review and negotiation preferred, but subject-matter specific training may be provided for an exceptional candidate</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance</li>\n <li>401K Plan</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>At TIC Solutions, we do work that matters.
