CMG’s product is our people, and we believe in fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that enables the CMG team to grow upon its successes and make new discoveries.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>With active operations in Canada and Europe on a variety of projects ranging from early-stage greenfield through to resource definition drill programs and development activities, CMG is looking to add to its team of Exploration Geologists for the 2026 field season.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>What you can expect by joining the CMG team:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Competitive wage/salary/bonus structure</span></li>\n<li><span>Comprehensive benefits plan</span></li>\n<li><span>Abundant opportunities for growth and mentorship from CMG’s established geological team.</span></li>\n<li><span>Continuous professional development</span></li>\n<li><span>Inclusive, collaborative and team-oriented work environment </span></li>\n<li><span>Opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the mineral exploration life cycle and commodities including precious and base metals, battery metals and industrial minerals.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>The Exploration Geologist’s main responsibilities will include:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining and updating geological databases for the project</li>\n<li>Prospecting, mapping and regional reconnaissance</li>\n<li>Drill rig monitoring, core logging and implementing relevant workflows and procedures (QA/QC, etc.)</li>\n<li>Data compilation</li>\n<li>Acquiring structural measurements</li>\n<li>Provide information for daily, weekly and monthly reporting</li>\n<li>Supervising, training and developing junior staff</li>\n<li>Assist in implementing corporate safety and operating policies</li>\n<li>Aid in developing new corporate and operating policies when instances present themselves</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>The ideal candidate will have:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (or equivalent)</span></li>\n<li><span>Registered or able to register in a GIT (Geologist in Training) program</span></li>\n<li><span>Practical experience with exploration scenarios</span></li>\n<li><span>The candidate should exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, time-management skills and be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision</span></li>\n<li><span>A positive and adaptable attitude to an ever-changing high demand work environment</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, GIS programs, Leapfrog Geo and other industry standard software suites is considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to lift and move core boxes/sample bags and hike considerable distances over varied terrain</span></li>\n<li><span>Availability to work rotations up to 28 days in length and live in a camp environment at remote project sites</span></li>\n<li><span>Legally entitled to work in Canada</span></li>\n<li><span>Valid BC Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s licence</span></li>\n</ul>",
