We are committed to Excellence, managing our company with Integrity, Dignity &amp; Respect, Trust, Engagement in all that we do, and Passion to get the job done to the best of our abilities.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Renton, WA</p><p><strong>Job Type:&nbsp;</strong>Fulltime Exempt</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Medical (free employee-only coverage and low-cost options available)</li><li>Dental, Vision, Prescription</li><li>Life and AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>Company Sponsored 401k with Employer Match</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Wellness Program</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Employee Discounts</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Annual Salary:&nbsp;</strong>$130,000 - $170,000</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>The QA Manager leads and coordinates all activities of the QA team including QA engineers, supervisors, test technicians, and inspection personnel to maximize productivity and minimize costs; and ensuring compliance through the inspection processes.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Proactive prevention and development of solutions to process issues that create scrap/MRB/rework by consulting with management, QA, and Engineering personnel on better operational procedures to improve overall efficiency and product yields, including leadership of improvement-based projects.</li><li>Assist with production planning, testing and inspection of prototypes by developing test procedures and data protocols as required by new product development programs.</li><li>Review customer/internal/industry specifications to ensure compliance with stated requirements.</li><li>Oversee and direct resolution of customer, vendor, and internal quality issues.</li><li>Oversight of development, evaluation, coordination, and deployment of work instructions and procedures, in-process inspection plans, and associated process controls.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Strong familiarity with aerospace industry customers and processes, in-depth understanding of AS9100, NADCAP, aerospace and defense requirements.</li><li>Process management and documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure while maintaining perspective.</li><li>Ability to lead problem solving activities, searches for root cause and addresses issues.</li><li>Ability to address conflict directly and works to resolve differences proactively.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience/knowledge of safety programs is strongly preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, ability to process and present technical data to management using statistical tools.</li><li>Strong and collaborative relationships with upper management, peers and production team members.</li></ul><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in a manufacturing environment preferred.</li><li>Experience working with composite materials in a manufacturing environment is preferred. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Additional Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Safety related training and certification are preferred.</li><li>Six Sigma training or certification preferred. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Computer Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><p>While performing the typical duties of this job, employees will experience the conditions noted below. &nbsp;PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.</p><ul><li>Extended periods of sitting at a desk in an office environment.</li><li>Usually work indoors.
