This role offers an excellent work-life balance with 23 hours per week, no call, nights, weekends, or holidays, and full health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program, pass the written National Board Dental Examination, and pass a state or regional clinical examination. </li>\n <li>Minimum of five or more years of experience in an Academic Dental Program.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of The Commission on Dental Accreditation accredits dental, advanced dental and allied dental education programs.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li>\n <li>Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a plan for better dental </li>\n <li>Performing dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, dental implants, filling cavities and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. </li>\n <li>Correcting bite issues and overcrowding. </li>\n <li>Applying helpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners. </li>\n <li>Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics. </li>\n <li>Giving clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments. </li>\n <li>Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc. </li>\n <li>Using tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth. </li>\n <li>Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them. </li>\n <li>Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients. </li>\n <li>Supervising Attending Dental Physician to Dental Residents. </li>\n <li>Other duties and/or projects as assigned. </li>\n <li>Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Starting Minimum Rate</h2>HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is an hourly rate of $90.78.
