What We Offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Training </li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision</li>\n <li>401K plan with up to 6% employer match</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation and Holidays</li>\n <li>Shift Premium</li>\n <li>Health and Wellness Programs</li>\n <li>Commuter/Van Services/Ripta</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Programs</li>\n <li>Safety Boot Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>Growth Opportunities </li>\n</ul>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have experience performing repairs and PM’s to a variety of heavy mobile equipment and vehicles to include tractor trailers, forklifts, and manlifts, various automotive assets. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience with special purpose vehicles (transporters and similar equipment) utilizing gasoline or diesel power and have mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems/controls not commonly found on transporters or ordinary transport trucks is preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct PM inspections and tests in accordance with written documents and Electric Boat standards</li>\n <li>Complete major repairs and overhauls to various mobile equipment</li>\n <li>Repair, replace, diagnose failed pistons, valves, bearings, cylinders, etc.</li>\n <li>Repair and troubleshoot electromechanical controls on various mobile equipment</li>\n <li>Perform all work in a safe manner as outlined by OSHA and company safety manual</li>\n <li>Perform maintenance checks and inspections of fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, clutches, etc.</li>\n <li>Test, troubleshoot, and adjust hydraulic valves, pumps and motors</li>\n <li>Inspect, repair, and replace diesel engines, main bearing assemblies, steering assemblies, air and hydraulic brakes, etc.</li>\n <li>Periodic travel to support major moves is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED OR 2 years of related technical experience</li>\n <li>2+ years’ experience in either/or an auto mechanic, garage auto repair or related experience</li>\n <li>Possess a valid driver’s license </li>\n <li>Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools</li>\n <li>Must be able to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, at heights, confined spaces and extreme temperature conditions as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience</li>\n <li>Ability to trouble shoot and diagnose electrical and electronic control systems associated with mobile equipment.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills</li>\n <li>Specific trade certifications/licensing desired</li>\n <li>Technical Education</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key to this role</li>\n <li>Knowledge and skill to determine the cause of malfunctions and make necessary repairs to a variety of mobile equipment</li>\n <li>Knowledge of electronics to identify and replace failed components</li>\n <li>Must have basic knowledge to perform maintenance on various pumps, motors, internal gearing, hydraulic systems, and mechanical joints associated with mobile equipment</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and other technical publications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<h2>Physical Qualifications</h2>Climbing, Color Vision, Crawling, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting\n<h2>Environmental Attributes</h2>Acids or Alkalis, Cold, Dry, Dusty, Fumes, Hot, Inside, Noise, Oily, Outside, Wet",
