If you have a passion for positively impacting business clients and their accounting and finance operations, this role is for you.</span><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">As a Manager, you will lead a team providing accounting and financial services to our business clients within multiple industries: manufacturing, agriculture, professional services, real estate, and construction. font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Key responsibilities include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Act as a fractional Controller for multiple clients: oversee monthly close, prepare management reports, join leadership meetings, and help improve overall business performance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Lead special accounting projects such as budgeting and forecasting, process and internal control reviews, and KPI/dashboard development; help clients work through complex financial issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Advise clients on multi-year strategic accounting and finance needs; support them through process and systems changes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Serve as the QuickBooks Online expert: support implementations, conversions, system setup, and user training in coordination with our Financial Solutions team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Provide guidance on the financial and tax implications of business decisions and identify when to involve the tax team for more complex issues</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Present financial results to leadership teams with clear insights</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Ensure year-round audit readiness with clients</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: rgb(66, 66, 66)\">Perform compilation engagements, including GAAP and tax accounting matters, financial statement preparation, and related footnote disclosures</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Lead a team providing strategic financial services to business clients</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Use top software solutions to help clients build their financial technology systems and track key performance indicators</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Manage team priorities and capacity to deliver high-quality projects on time</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Help grow the firm by deepening relationships with existing clients, identifying additional service opportunities, and meeting with prospects to understand needs and present proposals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Develop the team's client experience skills in conjunction with Abdo's client experience training</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Ideal Manager candidate has:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">5+ years experience working in accounting; CPA preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Accounting experience in the following industries preferred: manufacturing, agriculture, professional services, real estate, and construction</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Skilled in controller services, process optimization, long-term financial planning, budgeting, cost management, and software implementations<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Experience in project and change management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Proficient in advanced MS-Excel functions (e.g. VLOOKUP, H-LOOKUP, SUMIFS, conditional statements (IF, MAX, MIN), pivot tables, graphs and charts)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Strong quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills, with a focus on improvement and automation<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Experience with Quickbooks, Syft and/or Martus Solutions preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; The estimated base pay range for this role is $95,000 - $130,000. Offers are typically made below the maximum to allow room for future compensation increases in the role.
