Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and from beneath gum margins.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the preparation and setting up of materials necessary for each procedure.</li>\n <li>Detects potential disease by using probes to locate periodontal disease and assess levels of recession</li>\n <li>Assist in managing dental emergencies</li>\n <li>Mechanical polishing of the coronal portion of the teeth</li>\n <li>Application of desensitizing agents</li>\n <li>Whitening of the coronal portion of the teeth using tray-based systems; including the application of a dam if required for these tray-based systems</li>\n <li>Application of desensitizing agents</li>\n <li>Responsible for following all OSHA Standards, sterilization of instruments, and the cleaning and routine maintenance of the clinic and equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We're Looking For:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Certification/Licensure Specific Requirements:     Must Maintain CPR Certification     Dental Radiology Certification</li>\n <li>Knowledge of dental terminology</li>\n <li>Bilingual preferred, but not required.
