MutualONE is seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Claims Representative – Auto Physical Damage </span>to join our claims team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Reporting to the Manager of Claims Services, the successful candidate will be a self starter, detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills and a member-first mindset. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Investigating and settling first-party automobile claims through collaboration with members, sales force, appraisers, vendors and third-party adjusters</li>\n<li>Analyze auto physical damage claims, including liability, salvage and subrogation exposures</li>\n<li>Determine scope of damage, review and evaluate estimates and appraisals</li>\n<li>Negotiate settlements</li>\n<li>Review and interpret policy wordings</li>\n<li>Maintain detailed file records and accurate reserves</li>\n<li>Process claims payments within your authority level<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent time management and organizational skills with an appropriate sense of urgency and responsiveness</li>\n<li>Proactive and positive approach to customer service</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously</li>\n<li>Experience working with body shops, appraisers, and third-party adjusters</li>\n<li>Familiarity with salvage, subrogation, and reinsurance practices</li>\n<li>High level of integrity and excellent work ethic; takes full accountability for own work</li>\n<li>Successful candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-secondary certificate or equivalent (Business or Insurance program preferred)</li>\n<li>CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) or progress towards same considered an asset</li>\n<li>Minimum of 1 year of related experience in auto physical damage claims</li>\n<li>Ongoing commitment to education and learning</li>\n<li>Highly capable with computer systems/software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.</li>\n<li>Completion of a Criminal Record Check will be required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer</span></p>\n<p>We are an equal opportunity employer offering:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>A flexible hybrid work environment</li>\n<li>A rewarding career and comprehensive compensation &amp; benefits package</li>\n<li>Training, education, and career advancement opportunities</li>\n<li>A work environment that is fun and friendly and supports a healthy work-life balance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At MutualONE, your efforts will always make a difference!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Interested?
