    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>HealthPartners is hiring a Senior Application Analyst and Developer, Epic Beaker. This position ensures that the appropriate analysis and technical requirements are documented for applications changes. The person in this position is responsible for documenting, coding, and assessing application changes for larger application changes that may have minimal interfaces with other applications and systems.</p>\n<div>\n <p><strong><u>ACCOUNTABILITIES</u>:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Assesses builds and deploys software and new application functionality.</li>\n  <li>Performs unit testing and assists with system and end-user test planning and testing.\n   <ul>\n    <li>Coordinates system hardware and software testing with development teams to ensure transparent implementation and appropriate capacity.</li>\n   </ul></li>\n  <li>Develops and/or assists with test scripts; may manage the testing process, or advise business partners on testing components.</li>\n  <li>Analyzes functional and technical requirements for moderate changes or enhancements and updates system designs and specifications.\n   <ul>\n    <li>Performs firmware upgrades and patch management to Operating System and Application software.</li>\n   </ul></li>\n  <li>Diagnoses system failures and corrects issues.\n   <ul>\n    <li>Proactively and reactively ensures and monitors Windows server reliability and continuity.</li>\n    <li>Resolves and documents resolution for incidents; partnering across IS&amp;T to ensure continued availability.</li>\n    <li>Monitors capacity levels on servers, assessing potential issues and escalating issues.</li>\n   </ul></li>\n  <li>Drafts technical specifications based on identified business requirements.</li>\n  <li>Supports 3rd party application software; interacts with vendors regarding problems, upgrade schedules, and software installations.\n   <ul>\n    <li>Installs, configures, maintains, administers, and integrates smaller third party application servers and system software and hardware within the Windows Environment.</li>\n    <li>Works with vendors to identify issues or needed changes within the Windows Server Environment or the residing applications.</li>\n   </ul></li>\n  <li>Provides requested documentation and interviews with auditors and third party requestors.</li>\n  <li>Performs other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p><strong><u>SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:</u></strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Working knowledge of programming languages</li>\n  <li>Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including Windows server administration</li>\n  <li>Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver output on those requirements&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Strong communication skills in technical and non-technical vernacular</li>\n  <li>Proven ability to write technical documentation in a clear manner</li>\n  <li>Experience participating on project teams, preferably from initiation through successful implementation and acceptance of application changes</li>\n  <li>Expertise with more than one system development methodologies</li>\n  <li>Excellent analysis and problem solving skills</li>\n  <li>Able to be on-call 24X7 in areas of expertise</li>\n  <li>An overall understanding of disaster recovery and service continuity</li>\n  <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience/training</li>\n  <li>3+ years IT analysis and technical design experience</li>\n  <li>1+ year experience coding, testing, and implementing program changes</li>\n </ul>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p><strong><u>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</u>:</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>1 year of healthcare/ health plan experience</li>\n  <li>Epic Beaker AP Certification</li>\n  <li>Epic Beaker CP Certification&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Windows Server Administration experience&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n <p>#LI-Remote</p>\n</div>",
