    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Technical Sales &amp; Business Development:</p><ul><li>Promote and sell shaped refractories such as:</li><li>MgO-C Bricks</li><li>AMC Bricks</li><li>Promote and sell unshaped refractories such as:</li><li>Basic gunning mass</li><li>Castables and DVM for tundish</li><li>Shotcreting materials</li><li>Participate in RFQs and trials.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Application &amp; Performance&nbsp;Monitoring:</p><ul><li>Hands-on monitoring of refractory performance in:</li><li>Ladles (metal zone, slag zone, bottom)</li><li>EAF/BOF vessels</li><li>Tundish working lining (DVM, castable)</li><li>Torpedo and RH degasser applications</li><li>Conduct post-mortem analysis and life improvement studies.</li><li>Track consumption patterns (kg/ton) and suggest optimization.</li></ul><p><br>Trial Management &amp; Technical&nbsp;Support</p><ul><li>Plan, execute, and monitor refractory trials at customer sites.</li><li>Coordinate with plant operations during installation, gunning, casting, and dry-out.</li><li>Troubleshoot application issues and recommend corrective actions.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Customer Relationship &amp; Coordination</p><ul><li>Develop strong relationships with SMS operations, refractory maintenance, and purchase teams.</li><li>Act as a single point of contact between customer and plant/technical team.</li><li>Provide regular technical reports and performance feedback.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Documentation &amp; Reporting</p><ul><li>Prepare trial reports, performance reports, and technical presentations.</li><li>Maintain data on lining life, consumption, and cost per ton steel.</li><li>Support marketing team with case studies and technical inputs.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of SMS refractory practices and failure mechanisms.</li><li>Practical experience in gunning, casting, and brick lining supervision.</li><li>Understanding of steelmaking processes (Ladle, EAF/BOF, Tundish, RH, Torpedo).</li><li>Ability to interpret refractory wear patterns and recommend solutions.</li><li>Good communication and presentation skills for technical discussions.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualification &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Ceramic / Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>8 to 10 years of experience in steel refractory technical sales or application. Prior site experience in steel plants is mandatory.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>",
