Description

Our Company Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation Overview Join Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehab as a full-time Recreational Therapist (CTRS) in our outpatient clinic setting. Deliver meaningful, patient-centered therapy with competitive pay and a $2,500 sign-on bonus in a supportive clinical environment. As a full-time Recreational Therapist (CTRS) in our Outpatient Neuro Rehab Clinic, you’ll help patients rebuild independence through meaningful, real-world activities and creative therapeutic recreation. You’ll collaborate with a supportive rehab team to set goals, build treatment plans, and bring them to life in ways that actually matter to daily living. From community outings to functional leisure skills, you’ll help patients regain confidence while tracking progress and adjusting care along the way. It’s hands-on, purpose-driven work where you get to see real impact every day. Responsibilities Performs comprehensive evaluations, assessing the needs of the patients, and sets measurable objectives and goals that are formulated in conjunction with the rehabilitation team Adjusts treatment to achieve maximum results in independence and/or function Plans, organizes, and coordinates recreation activities, functional leisure skills, and leisure education Interviews the patient to assess capabilities/interests/barriers. Monitors progress and recommends changes/modifications to program as necessary Designs community reintegration activities to assist the patient with their physical and cognitive needs during physical recreational/leisure activity Assists the patient in understanding their various needs and limitations and how to manage them during function Regularly re-assesses effectiveness of treatment plan, progress of patient towards goals and the need for modifying goals or treatment Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient, family members, and others as applicable Observes/documents and reports changes in the condition/status of the person receiving services to the Clinical Coordinator, Program Manager or DCM, attending physician and other treatment team members Consults with medical providers regarding patient evaluation & treatment, progress of the patient & discharge from treatment Maintains and submits evaluation, treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulation Adheres to standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, policies, HIPAA and Corporate Compliance programs and appropriate professional practice standards and applicable state/federal laws May work with rehabilitation specialists in fulfilling the patient’s treatment plan through instruction in patient-related activities to be carried out by the rehabilitation specialist with supervision provided by the Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy, or the equivalent Maintains certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRT) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) Maintains professional license and/or certification if required by the state in which the CTRS practices Minimum of two years therapeutic therapy experience and therapeutic recreation program design Experience working with patients with neurologic or orthopedic injuries or conditions Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Able to work independently and part of a team Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail Has reliable transportation and can travel to/from multiple assignments/locations on a daily basis About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
