In this role, you will manage medical/healthcare/behavioral health facility design and construction building projects through planning, design, jurisdictional approvals, environmental permitting, construction, and close-out. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing capital improvement projects for construction.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABOUT YOU<br></span>You are a HCAI V Project Manager I professional with minimum of 5 years and a HCAI V Project Manager II professional with minimum 7 years of experience in HCAI project/construction management and concurrent field construction experience. Able to manage and coordinate all aspects of mid-to-large sized design and construction for capital improvement projects overseeing all the trades. Create/implement project plans, monitor progress and ensure quality and compliance.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with the State of California Health Care Access and Information V (<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">HCAI V</span>, formerly OSHPD) - <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Psychiatric Hospitals.</span></li>\n<li>Work experience in project planning and development.</li>\n<li>Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Building MEPF systems/components and technology.</li>\n<li>Ability to develop and control project scope and maintain project budgets.</li>\n<li>Ability to develop and review project schedules.</li>\n<li>Skilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents.</li>\n<li>Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings.</li>\n<li>Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders.</li>\n<li>Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges.</li>\n<li>Ability to set and manage project expectations.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Managed/executed multiple delivery methods experience: Design-Bid-Build/Design-Build/CMAR. Knowledgeable in contract management (GMP/lump sum) project delivery method.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of LEED.</li>\n<li>Effective oral and written communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum of 3 years of HCAI V experience</span>.</li>\n<li>Experienced and knowledgeable in the management of medical/healthcare/behavioral health facility design and construction projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Possession of a valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential.</li>\n<li>Experience with<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> HCAI I - Hospitals and/or HCAI IV - Correctional Treatment Centers.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Citadel is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.
