Gan Mah Tov Preschool is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Hebrew-speaking teacher to join our growing program. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Gan Mah Tov (meaning “Garden of Good”) is a Jewish, community-centered preschool where relationships, Hebrew language, and Jewish values are woven naturally into daily life. Qualifications: • Minimum 12 ECE units • At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood setting • Fluency in Hebrew • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Knowledge of child development and play-based learning We are looking for someone who: • Creates a warm, nurturing, and respectful classroom environment • Is organized, creative, and thoughtful in planning age-appropriate experiences • Supports a wide range of learners and developmental needs • Builds strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues • Communicates clearly and effectively • Is collaborative, reflective, and open to growth • Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic Additional strengths include: • Knowledge of best practices in second language acquisition • Familiarity with Jewish history, values, holidays, customs, and traditions • Comfort with Hebrew language immersion in early childhood settings • Experience organizing and managing a responsive, child-centered classroom • Ability to partner with parents as active participants in their child’s development • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a small, close-knit community Responsibilities include: • Creating a nurturing, play-based classroom environment • Supporting children’s social-emotional development • Partnering with parents to support each child’s growth • Incorporating Hebrew language and Jewish values into daily activities • Collaborating with teaching staff and administration Why Gan Mah Tov? • Warm, welcoming Jewish community (including Israeli families) • Opportunity to bring your language, culture, and creativity into the classroom • Supportive, team-oriented environment • Meaningful work during a child’s most formative years Benefits (for eligible positions): • Medical, dental, and vision • 401(k) with matching • Paid time off and holidays • Ongoing professional development Compensation: • $26–$30/hour, depending on experience If you are looking for a school that feels like home and values who you are, we would love to connect.
