Be a part of this dynamic and committed team of diverse water specialists and drive change for your community.</p><p>You’ll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.</p><p><strong>Who are we looking for?</strong></p><p>Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Graduate Engineer with strong technical knowledge and a keen interest in integrated water resources management in the Eastern Canada region (possible office locations: Montreal area, Quebec; Fredericton, New Brunswick; or Halifax, Nova Scotia).</p><p>This role will offer you the opportunity to join our innovative, welcoming, and dynamic Water Services group. You will work on a variety of infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients in the field of surface water resources. Join us in office, three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.</strong></p><p><strong>Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in hydrologic and hydraulic stormwater analyses, including watershed, storm sewer network, and flow management structure modelling using PCSWMM and other relevant tools;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Contribute to the design of storm sewer networks, retention/detention facilities, outlets, and sustainable stormwater management infrastructure, in accordance with municipal and regulatory standards;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support flood studies and risk management, including validation of hydraulic assumptions, scenario analysis, and interpretation of modelling results;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Produce and review detailed design documents, including:<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;plans and profiles;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;technical specifications;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;bills of quantities;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;calculation notes and tender documents;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in preparing technical reports, including hydrologic/hydraulic studies, design reports, technical memoranda, and technical opinions;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Compile, analyze, and interpret topographic, hydrologic, and field data in collaboration with senior team members;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in interdisciplinary technical coordination with civil, networks, and environmental teams during design phases;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide occasional support during construction monitoring phases, including site visits, monitoring compliance with plans and specifications, and supporting contract administration;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Contribute, as needed, to the preparation of technical proposals, particularly for stormwater management and modelling components.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you will bring to the team:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or higher — Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or a similar field;</p></li><li><p>Engineer-in-Training designation in Canada;</p></li><li><p>0 to 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in surface water management, flood risk assessment, stormwater management infrastructure design or construction, or stream restoration;</p></li><li><p>Strong technical report writing, data analysis, and communication skills;</p></li><li><p>Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic modelling software such as EPPA-SWMM, PCSWMM, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS;</p></li><li><p>Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic modelling software such as PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and EPANET/WaterCAD;</p></li><li><p>Strong computer skills and experience using the Microsoft Office suite;</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience or technical knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS;</p></li><li><p>Experience with and interest in infrastructure projects focused on water and wastewater systems;</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel for work and ability to perform field work;</p></li><li><p>Fluency in French;</p></li><li><p>Valid driver’s licence.</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As a diverse and inclusive organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
