This includes all aspects of close protection as well as taking every reasonable opportunity to provide services in a way that makes them feel safe, happy and productive. The Agent will be driving the Principal 3 or more days during the week.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h2>\n<p>The Executive Protection Agent/Driver is tasked with:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Keeping the principal(s) safe by providing close protection per defined parameters provided by the appropriate authority.</li>\n <li>Ensuring that the principal(s) are happy by providing exceptional service by being personable, professional, proactive and responsive to the best of their ability.</li>\n <li>Ensuring that the principal(s) are productive by communicating, planning, and executing security operations in a way that enables them to do more.</li>\n <li>Driving the Principal 3 or more days a week to various locations as needed.</li>\n <li>Understanding and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and relationships with all stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Establishing trust and confidence with all stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Demonstrating excellent team-ability (collaboration, communication, cooperation, etc.) in a cross-functional work environment.</li>\n <li>Communicating (written and verbal) in a clear and concise manner using assigned equipment (i.e., radio, cellular phone, computer, etc.) with all stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Gathering and assessing information (sometimes under duress) while exercising sound judgement, logic and reasoning in the decision-making process, and escalating issues appropriately to appropriate stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.</li>\n <li>Adapting to changing operational requirements as directed by stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Multi-tasking, prioritizing and completing tasks in an organized, efficient and effective manner.</li>\n <li>Providing deliverables to stakeholders in accordance with standard operating procedures.</li>\n <li>Safeguarding and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information of Allied Universal Executive Protection and Intelligence Services, the client and/or principal.</li>\n <li>Providing and receiving constructive feedback for improvement of team operations.</li>\n <li>Safeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazards.</li>\n <li>Operating company and/or client vehicles in a safe and legal manner.</li>\n <li>Transporting the principal(s) in designated vehicles in a safe, professional and efficient manner.</li>\n <li>Traveling (domestically and internationally) as needed in support of protective operations.</li>\n <li>Conducting advances and documenting them for dissemination to stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Being physically and mentally capable of utilizing legal and appropriate physical response options.</li>\n <li>Responding to alarms/fire/panic calls immediately, and promptly securing the safety and security of human life and physical property.</li>\n <li>Communicating with first responders and stakeholders to coordinate and provide support in the event of an emergency.</li>\n <li>Providing appropriate medical treatment as necessary.</li>\n <li>Conducting thorough investigations and preparing written documentation regarding non-routine incidents with reports, pictures and witness statements.</li>\n <li>Successfully completing annual and sustainment training requirements.</li>\n <li>Demonstrating proficiency, proper care of, and accountability of required equipment.</li>\n <li>Providing regular and consistent communication regarding and issues with employment, payroll, benefits, and paid time off (PTO) with appropriate stakeholders.</li>\n <li>The ability to work irregular or extended hours with an ever-changing schedule. Typical schedules include overtime, nights, holidays and weekends on a regular basis. </li>\n <li>Maintaining a professional and/or appropriate personal appearance.</li>\n <li>Performing other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<p>The Executive Protection Agent must have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience and training in evasive driving from law enforcement, military – or reputable training institution.</li>\n <li>Experience and understanding of corporate culture.</li>\n <li><strong><u>California Guard Card, Exposed Firearm and CCW are required</u></strong></li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.</li>\n <li>CPR Certification</li>\n <li>The ability to obtain required state licensing, certifications and permits as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</h2>\n<p>The Executive Protection Agent/Driver must have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Relevant security and/or close protection experience to include government, law enforcement, military and/or private security.</li>\n <li>A strong base of knowledge in all facets of protective operations.</li>\n <li>Drive, resiliency, adaptability, humility, integrity, effective intelligence, team-ability, curiosity and emotional strength</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication and emotional intelligence skills</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)</li>\n <li>The ability to pass background screening requirements</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Training from a reputable driving course</li>\n <li>Executive Protection experience for 3 years or more</li>\n <li>Reliable transportation (as required)</li>\n <li>The ability to obtain a passport for international travel</li>\n <li>The ability to be insurable under the company motor vehicle insurance policy</li>\n <li>Good credit history</li>\n <li>Current CPR / AED certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) Adult & Infant</li>\n <li>The ability to obtain required state security guard licensing, certifications, and permits for their regular work location(s) within 30 days of employment.</li>\n <li>The ability to legally possess a firearm</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<p>The following qualifications are highly desirable:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Continued Education</li>\n <li>Foreign language ability</li>\n <li>Law Enforcement: Task Force, SWAT, SRT</li>\n <li>Military Special Operations</li>\n <li>High Threat Security Operations</li>\n <li>Relevant instructor credentials</li>\n <li>Executive Protection / Close Protection training</li>\n <li>Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification</li>\n <li>Tactical Medicine (TCCC / TECC) training</li>\n <li>Defensive Handgun / Concealed Carry training</li>\n <li>Defensive Tactics / Martial Arts training</li>\n <li>Driver training</li>\n <li>Covert Protection training</li>\n <li>Residential Security training</li>\n <li>Active Threat training</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<p>$72.12 per hour</p>\n<p>Pay is based on experience and training.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical/Dental/Vision coverage</li>\n <li>Free employee life insurance</li>\n <li>Paid employee training and development</li>\n <li>401K</li>\n <li>Employee assistance programs</li>\n <li>Paid holidays and flexible PTO (Paid Time Off)</li>\n <li>Career advancement opportunities</li>\n <li>Great company culture and work/life balance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
