Our hospital provides services for cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, and goats. We’ve got you covered from preventative care, health certificates, surgery, and dentistry; to X-ray, ultrasound, and laser therapy.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Over the years, our hospital has grown into a multiple-doctor practice, dedicated to offering the most up-to-date medical treatments while maintaining our hometown feel. Our skilled and knowledgeable staff proudly serve our clients and their pets.</p>\n<h2>Position Purpose</h2>\n<p>Come extern with us!Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.</p>\n<h2>Requirements/Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u>Eligibility</u></p>\n<p>Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School</p>\n<p>Must be able to provide student PLIT</p>",
