Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with proven experience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review</li>\n <li>Direct technicians and EIT’s for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently</li>\n <li>Interface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers</li>\n <li>Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications</li>\n <li>Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents</li>\n <li>Mentor others in the proficient use of design software</li>\n <li>Review and approve structural designs for quality and code compliance</li>\n <li>Provide guidance on complex design issues</li>\n <li>Lead design teams, including EIT, technicians, and other licensed engineers on large or complex projects</li>\n <li>Manage design effort including planning hours for members of the structural project team</li>\n <li>Active involvement in development of EITs and mid-level engineers</li>\n <li>Manage project health including fees, schedule and hours for their projects</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering</li>\n <li>Active Professional Engineer (PE) lisense </li>\n <li>Ability to use Revit/BIM </li>\n <li>Minimum15 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits and Perks</strong></p>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
