          "text": "<p><strong>What You’ll Do as a Engineering Tech 3:</strong></p><p>As a<strong>&#xa0;Engineering Tech 3 at&#xa0;Westgate Resorts&#xa0;</strong>you will support resort operations by performing maintenance tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.&#xa0;You will demonstrate&#xa0;<strong>Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic</strong>&#xa0;in every interaction with guests and team members.</p><ul><li>Perform and lead engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, repairs, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and proper operation of MEP systems following resort guidelines.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of HVAC and mechanical components.</li><li>Diagnose plumbing fixtures, handle clogs, and conduct repairs and equipment replacements.</li><li>Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electrical components, such as breakers and contactors.</li><li>Repair and troubleshoot appliances and household fixtures.</li><li>Install, repair, and replace tiles, grout, vinyl, and carpet as needed.</li><li>Lead small construction projects, including drywall, carpentry, concrete, and flooring.</li><li>Work with pools, spas, and water features, including chemical balancing and maintenance of all MEP equipment.</li><li>Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for work.</li><li>Proficient in operating resort operations software and devices (HotSOS and other applicable systems).</li><li>Read and interpret technical data, blueprints, and OEM manuals.</li><li>Communicate professionally via radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions.</li><li>Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.</li><li>Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools needed for the job.</li><li>Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).</li><li>Lead and implement safety practices and guidelines.</li><li>Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.</li><li>Communicate and interpret guest needs with positive interactions to reach resolutions.</li><li>Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.</li><li>Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior.</li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.</li></ul>",
