Description Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale The pay rates are aligned with the terms outlined in the collective bargaining agreement. https://www.harpercollege.edu/about/directory/hr/index.php Schedule Information: Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule ***This posting will be used to obtain a pool of qualified candidates for the above subjects. As teaching needs arise, these applications will be reviewed for possible interviews*** Responsibilities Available to teach in-person, online, hybrid, or other distance education platforms multiple economic courses (Introduction to economics, consumer economics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics) Qualifications Education Requirements: Master's degree in economics or MBA with a concentration in economics plus a bachelor's degree in economics. Experience Requirements: At least two semesters of college level teaching experience. Required Documents: ***A resume and cover letter are required to complete the application process*** * Official transcripts required upon hire * Employment is contingent upon Criminal Background Check. * Employment sponsorship is not available. Applicable Benefits: We offer a competitive, semester by semester adjunct pay, with some tuition waivers available after 3 semesters; sick and personal business leave; and a comprehensive Adjunct Faculty Development Program. Organization The Business and Social Sciences Divisions provides transfer ready programs and courses in social science, such as anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology and sociology.
