We are a career destination with nearly 6,000 colleagues who reflect the diversity of our community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>TMH is the region’s healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region’s only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center</li>\n <li>Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center</li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care</li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care</li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, four residency programs and nearly 40 affiliated physician practices.</p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Gains sufficient experience, knowledge and skills during a three-year training program to become a competent family physician and to pass the Board examination for the American Board of Family Practice. </li>\n <li>Provides patient care and other services while learning necessary skills to graduate</li>\n <li>Completes rotations required by ACGME and developed by Faculty</li>\n <li>Reads, researches, and presents new knowledge or findings</li>\n <li>Becomes a licensed physician in the state of Florida, unless prohibited by Florida Statute or other reasons approved by the Residency Director</li>\n <li>Documents encounters, experiences, procedures, and skills, as they are gained, to support credentialing/certification/ reimbursement.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Post Graduate Degree (M.D., D.O. or equivalent)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>No Previous Experience Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ECFMG Certification</li>\n <li>State of Florida Physician Training License or State of Florida Physician License</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
