Diversity & Inclusion Location: Wilson site, Onsite Hours of work : Monday to Friday, Flexibility Required Employee Group: Management Salary Range: $102,940.50 - $128,754.60 Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Organizational Development and working closely with the support of our EDI Executive Sponsors the Manager of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is responsible in leading the EDI program and ensuring that the EDI Systems are aligned with the organizational goals. Responsibilities: Strategy, Governance, and Organizational Change Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing integration of organizational EDI and health equity strategies across corporate, clinical, and operational systems. Chair and provide leadership support to the EDI Advisory Committee, including agenda setting, recommendation tracking, progress monitoring, and escalation of risks and barriers. Act as a senior advisor to leaders on equity, anti-racism, accessibility, and inclusion-related matters, supporting sustainable culture and systems change. Data, Measurement, and Reporting Lead and support the ethical, culturally safe collection, governance, analysis, and use of equity-related data. Translate equity data into actionable insights to inform planning, priority setting, and continuous improvement. Training, Education, and Advisory Support Lead the design, oversight, and sustainment of organization-wide EDI and anti-racism education and training, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, sector requirements (e.g., TAHSN, Ontario Health), and evidence-based practices. Provide consultation and expert guidance to teams on inclusive language best practices, representation, educational materials, and culturally safe practice. Anti-Racism and Indigenous Health Commitments Lead the implementation and monitoring of organizational Anti-Black Racism commitments using trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches. Advance Indigenous health and reconciliation commitments through co-developed partnerships, culturally safe practices and spaces, staff education, and alignment with regional and provincial Indigenous health strategies. Health Equity, Service Design and Partnerships Partner with clinical, academic, and support service leaders to embed health equity and cultural safety into program planning, service design, and delivery. Support health equity initiatives related to quality improvement, patient experience, and accreditation requirements. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including TAHSN, the North West Toronto Ontario Health Team, and community organizations. Policy Review, Compliance, and Systems Alignment Ensure organizational alignment with relevant legislation, standards, and accreditation requirements (e.g., AODA, Accreditation Canada Health Equity ROPs, Ontario Health equity guidance). Partner with leaders and corporate functions to integrate EDI principles into workforce and organizational policies, procedures, and standards. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in social justice, education, sociology or public/business administration in addition to ideally three to five years of recent experience in leading equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred attributes include a Master’s degree, Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional, Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion designation or Certified Human Resources Professional.
