    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Objective(s)</strong><br>Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the campus and ensuring that visitors, residents, families, and staff have a positive impression. Additional duties include cleaning of common areas, project cleaning and seasonal cleaning duties as assigned. Weekly cleaning &amp; laundry in resident&rsquo;s rooms.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Job Responsibilities and Duties<br>&nbsp;</strong>&bull; Provide consistent &amp; quality work to the residents and staff<br>&nbsp;&bull; Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart<br>&nbsp;&bull; Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Assure resident apartment is cleaned and sanitized as scheduled.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Maintain inventory for daily needs &amp; notify supervisor of supply issues<br>&nbsp;&bull; Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>Cleaning duties includes but not limited to:<br>&nbsp;</em>&bull; Vacuuming hallways, elevators and furniture<br>&nbsp;&bull; Washing inside glass doors and windows<br>&nbsp;&bull; Sweeping and/or mopping floors<br>&nbsp;&bull; Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom<br>&nbsp;&bull; Dusting<br>&nbsp;&bull; Rubbish/trash removal<br>&nbsp;&bull; Washing / polishing woodwork and baseboards<br>&nbsp;&bull; Seasonal duties as assigned<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Qualifications<br>&nbsp;</strong>&bull; Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience<br>&nbsp;&bull; Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident&rsquo;s best interest.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to motivate oneself and work independently<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents<br>&nbsp;&bull; Knowledge of cleaning chemicals<br>&nbsp;&bull; Good work ethic<br>&nbsp;&bull; Maintains confidentiality<br>&nbsp;&bull; Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Physical Requirements (based on essential responsibilities)<br></strong><em>Must be able to frequently perform tasks such as, but not limited to, those listed below:<br></em>&bull; Bend and squat to the floor to pick up debris, trash containers, and to use cleaning tools and products, etc.<br>&nbsp;&bull; See objects within 35 feet to monitor work areas, i.e., determine areas that are in need of cleaning<br>&nbsp;&bull; Able to interpret colors to read warnings, labels, wires, etc.<br>&nbsp;<br><em>Must be able to continuously perform tasks such as, but not limited to, those listed below:<br>&nbsp;</em>&bull; Move, push, pull and/or lift objects weighing 10 to 25 pounds.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Use hands and arms for simple grasping, pushing and pulling to sweep, mop, use containers of cleaning solution/chemicals, etc.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Perform tasks requiring actions of muscles or groups of muscles to walk, stoop, bend, lift, and to carry objects<br>&nbsp;&bull; Walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time<br>&nbsp;&bull; Speak clearly and make self understood in face-to-face interactions<br>&nbsp;&bull; See objects closely to read directions, instructions, chemical warnings, etc.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Hear normal sounds and voices with some background noise to receive verbal instructions, answer telephones, communicate with others, etc.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Environment<br>&nbsp;</strong>Works indoors in a climate-controlled environment majority of the time.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Working Hours<br>&nbsp;</strong>This is an on call position.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Employee must have the ability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, evenings and/or overnights.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>General Notes&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</strong>&bull; This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive; additional details will be specified by the supervisor.
