Performs routine histological activities of receiving, preparing, and processing surgical specimens for patients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education </li>\n<li>Current HT/HTL Certification through American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)</li>\n<li>One (1) year experience as a Histology Tech.</li>\n<li>All applicants must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED</u></strong></p>\n<li>Immuno chemistry experience and/or training.</li>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in science, plus successful completion of a formal histology tech program</li>\n<li>Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and good written and oral communication skills.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>Sun - Thurs: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am\n<h2>Weekend Requirements:</h2>Yes\n<h2>On-Call Requirements:</h2>No",
