          "text": "<p>CEDA is looking to hire approximately three Equipment Operators for our Fort McMurray, AB location. CEDA&#xa0;will be working with one of their clients to reassemble their entire dredge, as well as assemble a marina and an electrical barge on site.</p><p>The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining dredging equipment. This position supports the training, development and mentoring of other Equipment Operators and Helpers.</p><p><strong>***We are proactively building a candidate pool for a potential upcoming project. Recruitment activity will progress based on project confirmation***</strong></p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Shift:</strong>&#xa0;14/7 rotation, 12-hour days</li><li><strong>Overtime Eligible</strong></li><li>Accommodation provided</li><li>Direct flights to client&#xa0;site via from Edmonton or Calgary</li><li>A supportive team culture where&#xa0;<strong>safety, integrity, and accountability</strong>&#xa0;are at the core of everything we do</li></ul><p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, and articulated haul trucks to support dredging activities</li><li>Feed dredge systems by excavating and stockpiling suitable material</li><li>Manage tailings, slurry discharge areas, and containment zones</li><li>Assist with building and maintaining berms, dikes, and containment structures</li><li>Support dredge mobilization and demobilization by clearing and leveling sites</li><li>Maintain safe working distances around floating or land-based dredge equipment</li><li>Perform assembly work, including installation, alignment, fitting, and dismantling of industrial equipment</li><li>Rig, lift, move, and secure heavy loads using cranes, hoists, and slings</li><li>Work safely and comfortably around heavy lifts and suspended loads</li><li>Strictly follow and enforce all safety requirements and procedures</li><li>Perform all other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience operating a zoom boom and/or telehandler (certification considered an asset)</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor repairs</li><li>Physically capable of demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg)</li></ul>",
