Candidate will explore emerging technologies like Web3, blockchain, and decentralized systems to identify strategic opportunities that enhance business capabilities and future-proof our technology stack.&nbsp; You will work closely with other team members, including architects and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the growth of the company.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist senior engineers and product/business teams in understanding and documenting technical requirements for blockchain and digital asset initiatives.</li>\n <li>Help analyze existing systems and workflows, and contribute ideas for improving efficiency using blockchain capabilities such as automation and traceability.</li>\n <li>Support the team in researching and documenting blockchain use cases (e.g., payments, tokenization, digital identity).</li>\n <li>Contribute to technical assessments, proofs of concept, or prototypes.</li>\n <li>Translate defined requirements into code by building and maintaining blockchain-based applications, APIs, or smart contracts.&nbsp;<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"border:1px none transparent;margin:0px\">\n <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Master’s degree in Financial Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.</li>\n  <li>\n   <p>Minimum 1–2 years of experience with blockchain or distributed ledger technology (DLT) projects</p>\n   <p>&nbsp;</p></li>\n </ul>\n <p><strong>Talents Needed for Success:</strong></p>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Practical experience with one or more blockchain networks (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Canton, Besu, Stellar).</li>\n <li>Understanding of at least one domain area such as post-trade, payments, identity, or tokenization, with an ability to translate that context into engineering decisions.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with secure coding practices and foundational concepts like hashing, signatures, key management, secrets handling.</li>\n <li>Understanding of blockchain fundamentals: smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, digital assets, tokenization.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, or similar.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Web3 technologies and decentralized application frameworks.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of crypto industry trends and blockchain ecosystems.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.</li>\n <li>Experience with smart contract development or auditing.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of tokenization standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, etc.).</li>\n <li>Exposure to custody solutions and collateral optimization workflows.</li>\n <li>Understanding interoperability protocols and cross-chain solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<div style=\"border:1px none transparent;margin:0px\">\n <i>The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
