The starting pay for a Shipping Lead Loader is $21.30 plus $1.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $29.13 after 24 months.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Shift Schedule:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your first 4 weeks after orientation, will consist of training on 1st Your schedule will be Monday – Thursday from 5am-3pm and Friday from 5am-1pm. After the 4 weeks of training you will report to your scheduled shift.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>3rd Shift Schedule</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3rd shift hours Monday – Thursday 9pm-7am and Friday 9pm-5am.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Convey materials from production and storage areas to designated shipping sites through use of tow motors, forklifts, and/or carts.</li>\n<li>Stack materials onto skids or assemble into bundles in preparation for being loaded.</li>\n<li>Load materials onto trailers by hand in a safe and orderly manner. This includes ensuring that the load is sorted according to stop so that material can be delivered and unloaded efficiently and loading the truck so that the weight is distributed appropriately, the load is secure, and the product does not get damaged during shipping.</li>\n<li>Visually inspect products for damage before loading and to ensure that correct material is being shipped to the proper location.</li>\n<li>Scan materials and complete Bills of Lading for all materials loaded.</li>\n<li>Follow prescribed safety regulations and standard operating procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to lift 70 - 100 lbs, and have the ability to work at a quick pace.</li>\n<li>Successfully pass a cardio and 75 lbs lift test to be considered for the position.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and write a limited number of words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.</li>\n<li>Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight and quantity.</li>\n<li>Ability to meet production and quality standards.</li>\n<li>Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.</li>\n<li>Ability to discern colors and adjust focus.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and understand shipping tags and locate required doors and hardware.</li>\n<li>Basic computer skills.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;</li>\n<li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Why Choose a Career With Us?</p>\n<p>We don't just manufacture doors; we engineer the \"front door\" of the American dream and the security of global commerce.
