In particular, the individual oversees the development and implementation of necessary policies and procedures and implementation of financial procedures. The individual reports to the ADORAY CFO and works closely with other team members to ensure necessary functions are carried out with minimal duplication of effort.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure there is an adequate pool of volunteers available for staffing the store working with the Volunteer Coordinator to &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;reach out to potential volunteers through a variety of sources in the community.</li><li>Ensure an orientation program exists for volunteers working in the store, including physical orientation as well as applicable &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;policies and procedures, and the orientation is completed within the first volunteer session.</li><li>Organize formal and informal recognition activities.</li><li>Ensure there is ongoing education of volunteers regarding the relationship between Treasures and Adoray.</li><li>Maintains Volunteer calendars and scheduling, understanding any open shifts should be filled by Volunteers first before &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;staff. If staff is not available, the Manager will be responsible for adequately filling that shift.</li><li>Actively contributes to Volunteer newsletter on monthly basis and other Adoray publications as requested.</li><li>Ensures consistent implementation of store policies including but not limited to the condition and type of inventory accepted; pricing strategies; best practices; tagging guideline; return policy, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide overall leadership in managing volunteers including communicating expectations clearly, communicating Adoray's &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;mission and standards of conduct and releasing volunteers who do not consistently meet expectations and/or demonstrate a shared commitment to Adoray's mission and standards of conduct.</li><li>Oversees performance of all other staff</li><li>Coordinates with managers and staff from other Treasures store to ensure consistency in pricing, tagging marketing activities and attends store meetings.</li><li>Takes initiative, at least annually, to measure shopper satisfaction, donor satisfaction and volunteer satisfaction coordinated with Treasures GM and Volunteer Coordinator and develop annual goals and strategies to address any areas of concern.</li><li>Ensures there is an atmosphere and environment in the store that is neat, clean and friendly at all times</li><li>Ensures appropriate public relation activities take place at least quarterly, working with the CFO and/or Marketing &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Department to attract new and repeat customers.</li><li>Works with Adoray Team to provide goods that they require for patients in need.</li><li>Works closely with the CFO to ensure policies and procedures are in place and followed</li><li>Establishes annual wish list and review annual budget with CFO with a focus of growth and profitability.</li><li>Assists with various tasks assigned by the CFO.</li></ul>",
