Humber River Health's 14 East is divided into two different focuses on acute stroke and medicine patients.</p>\n<p>Are you a compassionate RPN who is focused on delivering high-quality, safe-care? If yes, we invite you to read the details below then apply!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Employment Status:  Temporary Full-time</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Duration: August 31 2027</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship:</strong> Manager, 13 / 14E</p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong> $36.929 - $37.466</p>\n<p><strong>Union Group: </strong> NOWU</p>\n<p><strong>Hours of work:</strong>  Rotating shifts, 8 or 12 hours, days/evenings/nights/weekends</p>\n<p><strong> Location:</strong> Hennick Humber Hospital– Wilson Site</p>\n<p> <strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>RPN duties as assigned on 14 East.</li>\n <li>Care planning and coordination of care with various team members.</li>\n <li>Utilization of computerized systems for patient care documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program.</li>\n <li>Current RPN registration (in good standing) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.</li>\n <li>Current BCLS/CPR certification.</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year acute medical/surgical experience is preferred.</li>\n <li>Advance Physical Assessment skills are required.</li>\n <li>Meditech experience is an asset.</li>\n <li>Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.</li>\n <li>An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
