As a Wireline/Flowline Technician, you will be required to perform the daily operations associated with the service, repair, and recertification of all wireline flowline products, to include Elmar pressure control equipment and Anson surface test tree equipment within the service and repair department.",

    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Clean, repair, test, install, and maintain NOV WFL Brand products at NOV Service Facility(s).</li>\n <li>Communicate product failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.</li>\n <li>Provide supporting documentation per NOV WFL procedures.</li>\n <li>Complete and submit work pack documentation in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Service and repair of customer property items relating, but not limited to, Elmar, Anson, and Axelson brand product lines as supported by the WFL Aftermarket business unit. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Carry out all duties in accordance with the QA procedures and departmental work instructions.</li>\n <li>Diagnose cause of equipment malfunction through observations (Client and AM) and testing based on related schematics and assembly drawings.</li>\n <li>Ensure all work performed is in a quality minded, tidy &amp; accurate manner, prepare all surfaces and components as necessary to ensure no damage occurs during assembly and testing.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in training as identified by the Service Manager.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Engage in additional job activities as requested by the District/Branch or Service Manager/Supervisor.</li>\n <li>Disassemble equipment to remove parts and effect repairs.</li>\n <li>Examine all parts for general corrosion, defects, breakage, or excessive wear whenever looking at specific reported issues on any unit.</li>\n <li>Request parts as required including fabricated parts, install all parts according to instructions given, knowledge of item being assembled and/or following drawings, as required, including needed adjustments and alignment.</li>\n <li>Pressure test and function test repaired equipment to ensure it works to full specification.</li>\n <li>Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean &amp; organized work area, utilize safe work habits.</li>\n <li>Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>1 years’ experience with any/all the following product lines: Wireline WPCE, Flowline, Surface Safety Valves is required, but 2+ years' experience is preferred.</li>\n <li>Must have experience with the service, repair, and maintenance of wellhead pressure control equipment.</li>\n <li>Computer proficiency/experience required -&nbsp;Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, Excel, Teams, etc.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of both rig and completion well site operations a plus.</li>\n <li>Pneumatic and hydraulic background is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to pass a drug screen &amp; background check.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required – as you will be operating a company vehicle (only as required).</li>\n <li>Must be willing &amp; able to work overtime as required &amp; an on-call schedule.</li>\n <li>Standard work schedule is 5 day/week, M-F 8am-5pm</li>\n <li>Operation of test pumps/equipment.</li>\n <li>Operation of overhead cranes and forklifts, etc. as required.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and apply assembly drawings/procedures.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in factory environment which may include but are not limited to: high noise level, vibration, fumes, dust, and odors.</li>\n <li>Working conditions may be inside and outside with extreme temperatures.</li>\n <li>Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETITIVE BENEFITS:</strong>&nbsp;(visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.</li>\n <li>Competitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
