Complete ancillary administrative records and assist with promotions. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Attend staff meetings and in-house training as required. Annually, contribute to the assessment of the class and personal performance evaluation. Remain current in industry standards prescribed by supervisor. Behave in a professional manner, work as a team player, and adhere to facility policies.</p><p>Documented completion of a minimum 450-hour Comprehensive Pilates teacher - training program - preferred<br>American CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of hire – required<br>Nationally recognized Pilates certification - required<br>Previous Pilates teacher experience in a gym/health club environment - preferred<br>Responsible to building and maintaining a member/client business<br>&nbsp;</p><p>UCSF Fitness and Recreation inspires growth and health on the UCSF campus through fitness, community, and play. The Group Fitness unit is an integral part of Fitness and Recreation and provides customer service while ensuring that participants receive Pilates instruction in a safe environment. The Pilates Instructor works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Fitness Programs and is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the Fitness unit, which includes customer service, creating and following lesson plans, and providing quality instruction to all program participants.</p><p><br>Note: This is a limited position that ends 1 year from the date of hire, with potential to renew annually.<br>&nbsp;</p>",
