The Robert C. Byrd Clinic, on the campus of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or CCMA) for our family practice department. Position Summary: Perform all patient care functions within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant in the clinic setting. Requirements: One year of experience as a licensed practical nurse or certified medical assistant in a primary care clinic setting (highly preferred). Strong computer skills, preferably with experience on an Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform. Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Valid West Virginia LPN License or national certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcare Association (NHA); or the ability to obtain within ninety (90) days.
