This self-motivated, organized, competent, and professional individual repairs and maintains electric, diesel, and gasoline vocational trucks.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay Range: $18-$35. Pay is based on skill level. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why work for H&K Group, Inc.? </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>100% Company-paid Health Benefits</li>\n <li>401(k) Savings and Investment Plan</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs</li>\n <li>Additional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies</li>\n <li>Reads job order and observes and listens to truck or equipment in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures.</li>\n <li>Installs new ignition systems, aligns front wheels, changes, or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions and other parts.</li>\n <li>Replaces gas or diesel engines.</li>\n <li>Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and equipment, and adjusts.</li>\n <li>Lubricates and services vehicles</li>\n <li>Fabricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to schematic drawings.</li>\n <li>Collision repair, sand, prep, and paint</li>\n <li>Completes all standard maintenance on trucks and equipment and ensures state inspection requirements are met for cars, trucks, and trailers</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school in diesel mechanics or a related field OR 2 years of related experience and/or training\n  <ul>\n   <li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><em><strong>Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain within one year</strong></em></li>\n <li>Clean driving record</li>\n <li>Customer Service and Teamwork</li>\n <li>Mathematical Skills</li>\n <li>Willing and able to work a 1st or 2nd  shift schedule</li>\n <li>Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> <strong>Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>4 years of related experience and/or training</li>\n <li>State Inspection license</li>\n <li>Experience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries</li>\n <li>OSHA, MSHA, or other relevant safety certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, climb, balance, and crawl</li>\n <li>Frequently required to\n  <ul>\n   <li>Stoop, crouch, kneel</li>\n   <li>Use hands to finger, feel, and grasp</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Noise level is loud at times</li>\n <li>At times required to work outdoors in all environments</li>\n <li>Hours regularly exceed 40 in a week and 8 in a day </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc.
