Together, we are EXP.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Are you ready to design your future?</p><p>Be our next <strong>Energy Modeler Specialist</strong>!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your work environment at EXP</strong></p><p>In this role, you will be a part of the Sustainability&nbsp;Sector, based in our Brampton, Markham, ON, or Calgary, AB offices and have the opportunity to work on the energy modeling across our US and Canada projects.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Modeling building architecture and engineered Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems in selected Energy Modeling Software (technical knowledge of both simple and complex system modeling knowledge required)</li><li>Analyzing Energy and Water Conservation Measures to inform design decisions for buildings and sites.</li><li>Authoring narratives and reports for clients outlining measures to improve energy and water efficiencies for projects</li><li>Coordinating design recommendations with Owner, Architects and Engineers</li><li>Reviewing Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil and Landscape drawings to confirm measures have been implemented in Design and Construction Documents</li><li>Full documentation of the LEED Energy and Atmosphere Minimum Energy Performance prerequisite and Optimize Energy Performance Credit</li><li>Determining renewable energy system sizing based on results from the energy model</li><li>Review of trended energy and water data for model calibrations 1 year post occupancy</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>10+ years previous experience in energy modeling for LEED or code compliance (including Title 24)</li><li>Knowledge of energy modeling software, including, at minimum, IES Virtual Environment (5 + years), eQuest and Energy Pro</li><li>EIT or P.Eng is preferred</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.</p><p>The salary range for this role is between $110K - $130K.
