Description

Description GM Financial International Operations conducts business in Latin America and China. International Operations offers a wide range of wholesale and retail automotive financing products to dealers and their customers. The strength of the international business lies in its ability to tailor its products to meet unique dealer needs, consumer preferences and national requirements in local markets. Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. Responsibilities The Collections Intern will be supporting the activities related to collections of delinquent accounts, salvage accounts, remarketing operation as well as the back-office processes. The candidate is expected to be placed in key activities in the area to achieve adequate learning that allows us to rotate to the execution of other processes, through periodicals rotations ( every 3 months ) of activities, assuring his/her participation in the main departments such as Regular Collection, Salvage Collection and Remarketing with the objective of identifying opportunities through general knowledge. His/her participation is looking for the supporting in daily area activities, learning how to execute the main processes, improving in the operation, and adhering to projects in which the teams are already working currently. Coordinate activities related to Collections. Follows policies and procedures. Contribute and drive to process improvement. Communicates with other departments and direction to resolve problems and expedite work. Support area in resolving problems and completing work. Proactively keep the Collections Supervisor informed of business issues and opportunities. Qualifications Student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Banking, Economy, Finance, Accounting or related fields. Be 1 year or more apart from graduation (June '27 or +) Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8am to 3pm. Proficient English Skills, both verbal & written Working knowledge and experience in computer programs such as Microsoft Office. (High Excel knowledge). Teamwork and collaboration. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills. Organizational and time management skills. Ability to embrace change and to adapt to organizational challenges. Data management and reporting.
