    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is seeking a dependable Backflow Technician around the Wilmington, MA/Southern, NH area 1-3 years of experience with Massachusetts backflow testing.</p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>We test backflow preventers on a variety of systems </li>\n <li>We work closely with community water systems as well as private clients to ensure their drinking water is safe </li>\n <li>Duties include the performance of backflow device testing</li>\n <li>Interaction with water customers on a daily basis</li>\n <li>Position is full time, Monday-Friday at a variable schedule depending on client needs </li>\n <li>Usage of company vehicle for travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Plumbing knowledge/experience a plus, but not required</li>\n <li>License preferred, required to obtain within one year of start, class & license paid by company </li>\n <li>Ability to retain and abide by state and local regulations</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office </li>\n <li>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Ability to climb a ladder</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time position may require various shifts and/or flexible hours</li>\n <li>Travel to various communities (approximately 4 hours round trip)</li>\n <li>Overnights for certain community testing may be required </li>\n <li>Expected to participate in the on-call rotation, occasional overtime, holidays, weekends and nights.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:</strong></p>\n<p>Dependent on years of experience and licensing.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We have per diem, part-time or full-time positions available.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-ONSITE </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 800 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
