    "description": "<p>Position Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LCSW / LMFT)</span></p>\n<p>Department: Colusa Indian Health Clinic</p>\n<p>Reports to: Director of Clinic Operations</p>\n<p>Classification: Exempt</p>\n<p>Position Status: Regular, Full Time</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION SUMMARY:</span></p>\n<p>Under the general supervision of the Clinic Medical Director and Director of Clinic Operations, the incumbent is assigned to the Colusa Indian Health Clinic. The incumbent provides counseling services to individuals, families, children, youth and adults. In addition, the therapist is responsible for providing assessments, diagnoses, and individual and group counseling services.</p>\n<p>The incumbent is expected to work in accordance with the<span> </span><em>mission, purpose, and values of the Colusa Indian Community</em><span> </span>Council.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Colusa Indian Community Council, in compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act, is committed to maintain a workplace free of drugs and alcohol.</em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>As a routine part of the pre-employment process, all candidates for employment must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening.</em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participates in the intake process and the evaluation of problems presented by clients.</li>\n<li>Develops appropriate treatment plans.</li>\n<li>Conduct pre and post assessments related to emotional health needs;</li>\n<li>Provide training to clinic staff in the area of mental health;</li>\n<li>Address Behavior Health referrals from Clinic Providers;</li>\n<li>Meet with individuals and or family members to assist them with functioning more effectively;</li>\n<li>Meet with Health Clinic patients to observe behavior, assess needs and creates appropriate treatment recommendations;</li>\n<li>Provide therapeutic services to patients and their families;</li>\n<li>Interview individual or family members to obtain information concerning behavioral health history, treatment and other pertinent information;</li>\n<li>Educate patients and their families about mental illness, treatment plans and resources;</li>\n<li>Facilitate regular multidisciplinary review meetings for the purpose of planning care and assessing the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, group therapy process and program components;</li>\n<li>Implement and evaluate individual or group counseling treatment needs;</li>\n<li>Discuss progress toward goals such as medication regiment, family relationships, educational programs and other related problems;</li>\n<li>Complete and maintain individual and or group counseling notes and documentation;</li>\n<li>Provides crisis services as needed.</li>\n<li>May perform other duties commensurate with the functions and level of the position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span><span> </span>Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in clinical social work or closely related study.
