We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented NDT Level II Inspector to perform nondestructive testing and inspection activities on precision-machined aerospace components and flight-critical hardware. This position plays a vital role in ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process. The NDT Level II Inspector is responsible for conducting, interpreting, evaluating, and documenting nondestructive examinations in accordance with approved procedures, engineering specifications, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards. The successful candidate will support the production of mission-critical aerospace hardware by identifying material discontinuities, verifying product integrity, and ensuring compliance with stringent aerospace quality requirements. Working closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Production teams, the NDT Level II Inspector will help maintain the highest standards of workmanship, reliability, and regulatory compliance while supporting on-time delivery of precision aerospace components. The NDT Level II Inspector serves as a key guardian of product integrity and mission assurance. By identifying defects before components reach assembly or flight, this role helps protect customer assets, ensure compliance with aerospace standards, and support the safe and reliable performance of mission-critical hardware used in commercial space, defense, and aerospace applications. Essential Functions Perform nondestructive testing inspections using approved methods, including Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Visual Testing (VT), as certified. Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable specifications, acceptance criteria, and customer requirements. Inspect precision-machined components, welded assemblies, structural hardware, and flight-critical aerospace parts. Review engineering drawings, manufacturing travelers, work instructions, and inspection procedures to determine inspection requirements. Accurately document inspection results, nonconformances, certifications, and inspection records. Must be able to appropriately follow process and document inspection requirements. Verify compliance with aerospace quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Maintain NDT equipment calibration, system performance checks, and inspection consumables. Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues and nonconforming material. Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits as required. Assist in the development, validation, and continuous improvement of NDT procedures and inspection processes. Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspections ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
