Together, we can make a difference while building a rewarding career!</span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Job Summary</strong></span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">The Crew Chief is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the work of one or more survey teams.&#160;</span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></span></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Oversee a survey crew to perform field work on civil engineering, construction and general surveying projects, including: topographic, ALTA, boundary, Right of Way and construction staking</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Must be able to operate various survey equipment (GPA, Robotic Total Station)</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Process field data and perform staking calculations&#160;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Accurately perform vertical and horizontal control surveys with necessary calculations&#160;</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Maintain and operate all instruments and equipment needed to complete surveying tasks</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors on project sites</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Work outdoors in both developed and natural environments</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Work independently, be self-motivated, have good organizational and communication skills</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ability to work well with clients</span></span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Required Qualifications and Skills</strong></span></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">3+ years' experience in field surveying</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ability and willingness to perform work in both the field and office settings</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Valid driver's license with a driving record that is approved by our insurance provider</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Willingness to travel overnight as required for project assignments</span></span></li></ul><p>&#160;</p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14px\">With offices throughout the Midwest, JEO is proud to offer a robust benefits package designed to support and protect our employees and their loved ones.
